HONG KONG – BVI companies can now be quoted on HKSE

The Hong Kong stock exchange has decided to accept British Virgin Islands companies for listing, apparently in order to satisfy large onshore firms with BVI-domiciled subsidiaries.
Law firm Maples and Calder played a central role in the move, says the BVI Financial Services Commission.
