VAT number for Cypriot companies

An intra-community VAT number can be obtained in Cyprus. The VAT rate is 15%, which is also one of the lowest rates in Europe. It becomes necessary to be VAT-liable if the turnover for the past year is over 15,600 Euros. Once the company is set up and its account opened, the VAT number can be obtained within 10 days.
